Kulibangbang




Minsan pa’y sa aking paglalakad…
Ako’y may nakitang munting kulibangbang…

At sa aking malikot na isipan ay naihalintulad ang buhay ng isang kulibangbang…

Na bago lumundag ang isang kulibangbang sa bagong yugto ng kanyang buhay, ay kailangan niyang hayaang mamatay ang dating mumunting higad…

Tulad ng buhay ng tao, madalas, nahihirapan tayong tanggapin ang “bagong ikaw” kasi patuloy mong ikinukulong ang sarili mo sa madilim mong mundo…

Minsa’y pa’y sa aking paglalakad…
Ang mumunting kulibangbang ay nag paalala sa akin sa bawat sakit at kasiyahang iniiwan ng mga bagay na dumadaan sa ating buhay…

Na di mo masisilayan ang ganda ng isang kulibangbang kapag di siya dumaan sa bawat yugto ng kanyang buhay…

at mula sa higad ang napakagandang pakpak ay mamumukadkad at maikakampay sa kalangitan…

Daily prompt: Antukin

God reveals His love for us in incredible ways. Sometimes, through the songs we hear. As I was watching ICON concert last night, God just so happened to speak through this line: “…Mahalin mo nalang ako ng sobra – sobra, para patas naman tayo diba?” I was excited to have a meaningful conversation with God  since it’s the revelation of His promise, of His love for us. I was excited for His message. (This Holy Week) And that song sums it up!
