Sunday's Best: Matthew 8:8

I really love the idea that I was receiving the body of Christ

“Lord, I am not worthy to receive you but only say the word and I shall be healed.”
-Matt. 8:8

There was something comforting about that!

Something just shifted in me as I was meditating this morning, giving thanks for all that I have received and for all the blessings that are coming.

I can actually feel all the changes that are happening to me…
Right now… at this moment… It feels so amazing.

It’s just so powerful that I don’t have the exact words to describe how wonderful it feels.

Acknowledging that I am NOT worthy to receive “you” but only when “you” say the word, “I” would be healed.

God reveals His love for us in incredible ways. Sometimes, through the songs we hear. As I was watching ICON concert last night, God just so happened to speak through this line: “…Mahalin mo nalang ako ng sobra – sobra, para patas naman tayo diba?” I was excited to have a meaningful conversation with God since it’s the revelation of His promise, of His love for us. I was excited for His message. (This Holy Week) And that song sums it up!
